O'mama Kopitiam

Today I went and tried out O'mama Kopitiam in Karawara. Today was the day it opened it's doors to customers. Previously here was "saraha cafe." O'mama is much like Malaysia's Old Town Kopitiam's.
I was really excited as this is the first kopitiam, to my knowledge, to be opened in Perth.
So the interior is like this, got the tables with the marble seats and the like.
A huge menu that is reasonably priced.

This is their breakfast menu, which is even more reasonably priced.
Kaya toast with a drink and 2 eggs will set you back $4.80!
2 Roti Canai, Curry and a drink will set you back a further $4.80!
or around that sort of price, might be cheaper.
but the breakfast price is decent, the thing I didn't like was the Roti Canai was just the frozen one, it wasn't made in-store. That was a slight disappointment but for the price, you can't really complain, can you?

The Roti Canai and Curry, they gave me knife and fork...I don't know why...

Kaya toast. I was also disappointed it wasn't the brown bread, but that really didn't matter.

The soft boiled eggs.

Nasi Lemak.

Milo.
There was a bit of drama surrounding my milo here, The waitress, bless her, it was her first shift and most probably her first order, Couldn't quite get her head around the fact that I wanted to order milo instead of tea but a few words with the boss and that was sorted out no problems. Just pay the difference which is 50c and you can have milo too~!

Now, the coffee debacle!~
The said waitress, bless her, Also couldn't differentiate between Coffee and Hainan Teh, I wasn't born and bread in Malaysia and neither was she, but I can tell the difference between Hainan Teh and Coffee, maybe she was just a bit confused/excited/flustered because it was her first shift and it was opening day but she tried telling us that the coffee and the tea was the same thing and I quote: "ah yes, the Coffee and the Hainan teh is the same thing, It looks like Coffee but it's really Tea." So then I tried them and they both tasted the same, then someone from our table kindly explained to the owner/manager what had happened here. Small problem but when you go into a Restaurant you expect the wait staff to be able to know the menu.

And here is some lovely photos they have on the wall, the place is very nicely decorated.

So Overall I would recommended the breakfast menu for a nice cheap breakfast.
